In line with a BMWI funded project an Internet based Infoportal with regard to hygienic design was developed. The project team including experts developed a prototype with a first documents database. The experts are from food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry and from other sensitive areas. Aim of the project is to implement an internet solution in conjunction with a network of experts from industry and research institutes that allows users to find and discuss relevant information.
In 2006 the project team is going to be completed with experts from other business areas. Another aim is to include bordering themes of hygienic design.
But the information portal is not a documents database only. New functions like a forum and a pool with industrial solutions are going to be added. The fourth part is a guidebook that shows expert experience with regard to certain topics. Therein the users are able to get back to the experts as well.
The work with the database has shown, that the structure should be improved. This has been carried out last year.
